              You're unlikely to find out out the pear Sheal unless a pear expert appears .

              2. Yep Lonicera probably baggesens gold its the most common one - hack away as much as you like with these to reduce them , I'd do it late winter though .

              6. I've seen it before but its not coming to me at the moment :scratch: irritating me as well

                Yes, almost certainly Baggesen's and it is one of the extremely vigorous growers and when it gets going can grow two or three feet per year. Excellent as a hedging plant.

                We removed one this year after having it for many years and used to cut it into shapes, like topiary, but we needed to use a pickaxe to get it out after cutting it right down.

                    Daphne. Flowering time and colour of flowers needed.
