Sent by a friend asking for ID

Lovely plant but I don’t really know what it is. It’s a bit like a type of agapanthus or allium - I hope someone will be along to correctly ID it.

 

Ornithogalum?

Also depends on the scale .. if the plant is about 1m tall, with low foliage, it's ornithogalum saundersiae. Otherwise, arabicum which is the shorter one

 

I grew some many years ago, but they have to be in pots as it's too wet in the ground here.
A plant [bulb] that doesn't seem to get grown, or even mentioned much. Not sure why. They're very nice plants.

 

Ornithogalum is my answer too Not in fashion these days but I like them.
