Does anyone else get emails in response to customer enquiries/complaints which state at the end that "this email has been sent by someone outside the organisation " ?
I understand fromMr. Fothergills Seeds that this is commonplace. With all the stuff about scams and beware of this, that and the other, I'm finding this hard to understand. Is the email genuine or not ? You are left having to phone the organisation - more money down the drain - to actually find out. Their response is patronising to say the least.

Wow! I never saw that coming. Not after the Government rolled over and gave massive pay rises to doctors and mainline train drivers. They must realise there is only so much money to go round. I'm sure the union bosses will explain the problem to them.

Is it just me or can you also count better than the chancellor?
There was a £22bn black hole.
Over the following 3 months, the national debts went up from 97% to 100%, which are another £24bn over that period of 3 months.
The budget in 2 weeks time which will bring tax raises to cover £44bn missing finances, which makes it all together 3 times more than that so-called black hole used to be.
What on earth is she doing with the money? Someone should tell her that she has already spent the black hole money, she can't spend more than she has in the pocket.

I am really disappointed in RR. I suspected she had some Thatcher traits and would not be willing to change her mind. But I also expected her to be able to use the available funds wisely, making decisions on the basis of what needs money spent on it as opposed to what Ed Milliband and the like want to splurge on. And I expected her to be honest about the situation ... which I don't think she has been.

That was certainly part of it.

I am naive enough to hope that, once elected, a gov will want to be a good one. Even when Trump got it, I assumed he would rise to the challenge and learn how to be an effective president. But no! Leopards and spots, I guess.

A minor moan possibly. I cracked the casing of the rear light on my car - don't ask!
The guy at the local garage is very good and said 'do you use ebay, cos you can get the part cheaper than I can, and then I'll stick it on for you'. Brilliant.
I scoured the site until I found the item [ridiculous prices for a wee bit of plastic stuff ] but they all seem to be the full unit including the bulb - which I don't need as it's fine.
Contacted one seller and said that, and did they sell the plastic casing on it's own.
All very simple - you'd think. Just got a reply - 'all our lamps are replaceable including the bulbs'.
                      Is it just me?
                      Sigh....

@fairygirl that basically translates as 'No', they only supply complete units. That is becoming more and more of an issue with car parts. You may only need the widget on the end of something but you have to buy a whole unit.

At least the reply included the word "bulb"! Things have improved. I remember getting an email response from PayPal once. All the words were in English, just not in any order or combination that conveyed meaning.

Some sites on ebay do second hand parts, not that I've tried recently.
