Very sorry that was an accident. Didn't realise I'd done anything. I removed it now.

The medical profession have told us that Covid is now endemic. If everybody stayed off work whenever they had cold or flu like symptoms the country would grind to a total stop. I'm now retired, but in the 4+ years that Covid19 and its successors has been around I've never had any more than a sniffly cold or a mild cough. Neither would have kept me from going to work pre-Covid and they wouldn't have stopped my post-Covid. We have to live with it and not have our world controlled by fear of it. I haven't done a Covid test since they stopped being compulsory and have no plans to start doing so.

I agree with you @Flumpy, and I couldn't live with myself if I didn't get my jag, got Covid, and knowingly put others at risk when it could be avoided. I also know someone who had a similar experience to yourself and lost a parent. I hope you're ok.

I'm well aware of long Covid too, as my daughter is still affected, having had it twice before there was a vaccine available, and also knowing of someone who is one of the fittest, toughest people you could ever meet - yet was absolutely grounded by it, but all vaccines have side effects and problems. It also doesn't mean you won't get it if you have the vaccine, but there has to be enough of the population covered to keep it under control.

When covid was about we used to see some one who was in the medical profesion break lots of rules ie meeting people inside home, people come to stay, kissing & huging friends/family etc and that was when we were NOT ment to see any one outside of the people with in your family home group, then you would hear that covid was spreading through hosipitals well with what i seen i'm not surprived !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had Covid and flu jabs yesterday. In and out in under 10 minutes from the time we parked the car at the surgery to getting back in and driving away. If only it was as easy to get an appointment for other things.
In the past we've both had both injections in one arm so didn't know if it was the Covid or flu jab that caused the ache and stiffness in the arm. One in each arm this year to find the answer - both arms ache and are stiff!

That's why I had both in the same arm! One stiff/sore arm is better than two.

I'm still trying to find a Pfizer jab place. Even NHS 119 couldn't help - they were useless.

@cactus_girl I wouldn't expect the people involved in making appointments to get the Covid jab to have in depth knowledge of which vaccine is used in every, or even any, location. It's entirely likely that any vaccination centre will simply be provided with what happens to be available for delivery on a particular day.

Well I would think they are assigned a vaccine for the jabbing season. And I would expect the NHS computer to have a list. It probably does, just we and the call centre can't access it. The places I rang all said Moderna this time. They were very precise. I don't think they will change supplies.

We didn't get Moderna, ours was something starting with a C I think. That means there are at least 2 suppliers.

                  Cominarty?
                  It’s Pfizer.
