What's your Weather Like October 2024

A band of rain is just passing over us and it is very still. Visibility is poor - i.e. misty. Mild at 15c. Rather dull.

 

Quite sunny this afternoon and the weekend forecast looks decent.

 

Been dry up till now although not a path has dried all day, its so damp in the air. Total gloom mostly.

Just started the dreaded drizzle, I was starting to have withdrawal symptoms, its over a day since it last rained.

15c was the max.

 

Cloudy with light winds from the south temp 14c feels like 15c

 

Seeing double at teatime

 

We are heading to a persistent High between Iceland and us, and it looks like stable weather in the next 2 weeks with sunshine.
I thought it's Autumn. Where are the rainy, misty, foggy and miserable days?

It's currently 10c and quiet outside.

9c was a clear sky at 6am but abit cloudy now

 

A murky, damp, cloudy start here, with some pink bits between the clouds thrown in as well as it lightened up just before 8am. O'night low was 10 degrees [11 just now at approx. 8.10 am] with a predicted high of about 13 or 14. A mix of bright spells and rain, with some strong winds, but very mild again.

Yesterday turned out to be pretty dry most of the day, apart from a couple of short, smirry spells. The high was 13 degrees, and there was no wind. Very foggy later on.

 

Dark clouds and damp.
Looks like rain on the way I the next hour or so.
9c. The forecast 16c seems a bit optimistic.

 

Bright with the sun coming up, a brisk 10c (I think it is fresh, T'other Half says it is cold), rain forecast for late morning/early afternoon going to 21c. We'll see ... let's hope ...

 

Good morning all, a sunny start but than clouding over,with a high of 15c.

 

Mist at the top of my garden and out the front first thing but it’s lifting slowly. Fingers crossed today and tomorrow still lots of jobs to finish off ! First though brush-up fallen leaves , must have 3 bags full already . Around 15c and dry .
