What's your Weather Like October 2024

Its drizzle here again now, wasn't too bad earlier cloudy but with a wind enough to dry things off.
I get a feeling that the next few days are going to be mostly grey and damp.

 

Yet another day of hammering it down all day when there was no hint of rain in the forecast.

 

Raining currently, started at 4, still warm with around 15c.
Was dry over the day with sunshine around noon time.

 

Drizzly all day and forecast for the next three days is mist, mist and fog. No sign of the frosts that they had previously forecast for the end of the week.

Very mild at 15c now. So it's quite nice not to be feeling cold. And I still haven't taken down the GH vent opener.

 

All day it's been cloudy with light drizzle at times.now light rain showers and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 13c feels like 14c

Forecast is mist, then cloudy all day. Remaining mild but cloudy all week. No frost forecast yet as @cactus_girl mentioned so that’s something.

 

It's the dullness that's getting to me. I'd rather have actual weather, if you see what I mean.

 

Overcast and looks like it's been constant drizzle all night, everything has a coating of water hanging in droplets, not a breath of wind to shift it.

I don't want frost but I'd swap a few degrees lower for some bright dry weather, even a nice drying wind.

 

10c now rising to 16c and mostly cloudy for the day , no rain on the forecast . Volunteering today so glad it’s dry.

 

Has been raining, dry atm but probably about to return. 14c later on.

 

A damp/smirry start with an o'night low of 10 degrees [11 just now at approx. 8.05 am] and a predicted high of about 12 or so. A decent breeze, but incredibly mild for this time of year. We had Fox's Wedding earlier - looking out the front windows [north west facing] the sky was leaden, but the back windows [south east] had a shaft of sun light as it tried to get above the houses. It made a nice view at the front though, as the short lived light was splitting that leaden sky.

Our weatherman on the Scottish news was remarking yesterday that there's very little difference between daytime and night time temps, which has certainly been the case for a lot of this month.

Yesterday was just murky with spells of light rain on and off all day. It was that thing of - is it misty or just low cloud? Visibility was low. The high was 15 degrees, and no breeze. Very weird for us - especially that calmness.

 

Mixed cloud, brightish, 15c going to 21c with dust rain expected from Africa later today.
