A battery operated thingy that hoovers up the moisture after cleaning windows. Supposed to leave windows streak-free etc. Useful for shower screens and similar too. Have only tried it on the bathroom mirrors, but today will be the big test with windows. Impressed so far.

I had to go and collect some more anti biotics for Rob so put him in the car with me and went on to the garage to fill up with petrol. I then took him to the Village Green for a mini walk around the bowling area to stretch his legs. It made me realise how vunerable he still is as there was someone with 2 large young excited dogs roaring around, wanting to play with any other dog that came their way. He is not ready for that yet as he still has stitches but he caught up on his canine friends smells Made an Apple in an area he knows well.
The weather had closed in with a low wet mist so no more was done indoors or out. Made an Apple Strudel to use up some filo pastry and a couple of cooking apples.

That's terrible, by choice we have a private dentist, the filling will cost £178. We do have a dental plan but that only covers checkups twice a year and hygienist twice a year.

I've owned a Winbot for about 4 or so years and I really like not having to try to reach the second floor windows any more. Mine has batteries but operates more efficiently when left plugged into the mains. There are a couple of windows on the main floor that are also too tall for me to reach fully without a ladder and these machines are dandy for that :)

And now you've mentioned it, I'd best get mine out and do that cleaning. Thank you for reminding to get that done @Bluejayway :dbgrtmb:

I was lucky that I got mine at an auction. Actually, for the price of one retail, I got two Winbots, plus an air cleaner and a waffle maker. :)

An air cleaner? I always imagined Canada had excellent air quality.

I've just finished my inside windows too. I use Fairy Liquid and lashings of malt vinegar as we are very limey here. I just put a sheet down and have a rubber squeegee. The hammered glass in some windows has to be done with a cloth. But they are all super clean now.

Bought a turkey yesterday and defrosted it to cook tomorrow and portion it up to put in the freezer for Sunday dinners. Also got a another turkey for Christmas.
