Well it's cloudy but only 5c so I'm guessing there has been some cloud breaks overnight.
There is bright glimmer in the east.

Same as all last week. I think the sun took a holiday but will be back tomorrow.

A damp, misty start with an o'night low of 6 degrees [6 just now at approx. 7.40am] and a predicted high of around 11 degrees. To be breezy, and drier in the afternoon. Some rain last night so will check the guage soon.

Yetserday was cloudy all day, and the temp dropped to 5 degrees for a while in the morning. The high was 7 degrees.

Some sun and frosts for this coming week which will be much healthier.

We were a fresh 14c earlier. Blue sky and sunshine with a light breeze from the North going to 23c today.

Mist has cleared can see the top of the mountain yonder this morning and the buttery yellow of the Wisteria out the front Arch looks glowing. Still it’s around 9c , dry must get the Green bin filled for tomorrow , just 1 more after that and it stops till March

I can see a tiny little patch of blue sky, as my grandmother used to say: "just enough to make a shirt for a sailor".
Hopefully all this murk will lift today.
Yesterday it was cold enough first thing that I was surprised the heating hadn't come on, then I went and looked at the thermostat and the display was blank. Batteries had probably been dead for months! I always forget during the summer how nice it is to have radiator-warm towels.

It must have rained overnight as everywhere is wet. The sky is a cold grey colour, but maybe we will get some sunny intervals later.

Tomorrow is FULL SUN! ALL DAY!

Max 12c today and only dropping to 10c tomorrow with all that sun.

Sailors up here must be smaller because my grandma used to say that there was enough to make a pair of sailor’s trousers. :)

Our bathroom radiator comes on when the hot water comes on. I couldn't put up with damp towels. And the airing cupboard is warm too. If we have to change our old boiler I'm keeping those.

We've been having the CH on during the daytime. Probably not tomorrow if the sun comes out. It makes all the difference.
