If you needed new lenses then they could have put them in your existing frames. That's what I do.

You can get your prescription from Boots (they legally have to give it to you if you ask) and then get them prescribed elsewhere.

Recent mention of local councils considering charging for rubbish/recycling collections. Green waste is already charged for ( £68 pa at the last count here ). Our council tax is currently more than 10% of our total annual income and no doubt set to increase again next year.
Other than considering a career as a bank robber. not sure where we are supposed to find this extra cash from ??
If this does happen, perhaps Mr. Starmer would care to consider the inevitable rise in Fly Tipping as he flutters around the planet attending COPs.

My frames are not great so i do need new ones, I always end up bending them.

Yes I've got the prescription so might try the online place I used before but they will probably cost more even on there now.
I do like a few pairs laying around.

I get single occupancy discount but mine is probably close to the same.

Take a look at the polls - Conservatives are dying on their backside, and rightly so. Our thinking there has to change, and if needs be the Conservatives need to be the ones to concede

Is it right what I'm reading?
Vehicle road tax is doubling next year?

I think it only applies to first year tax on new vehicles. But then, I might have missed something as I wouldn't put anything past this lot

Another good reason not to buy a new car.

The way pricing is going for new cars, it will only be fleet buyers now anyway - but even so, this government does seem intent on killing just about every industry going.

You can see why the car industry is up the creek.

There has been a global push thanks to a combination of the WEF and the COP conferences that is absolutely screwing much industry in the Western world, meanwhile China is nodding along, making all the right noises, but at the same time laughing all the way to the bank as they are the only ones really capable of providing the raw minerals etc.

My council tax is a lot more than 10% of my annual income. I'm used to living on quite a small amount of money though. Just as well!
I've not had a mortgage for a very long time, which certainly helps. I'd hate to be renting long term. You never get away from that expense.
