Electric cars.

I've just been informed that all roads out are now blocked with flooding only tractors may be lorrys and if lucky 4x4's can get out!!
So i now can't go out so i'm stuck at home but that's ok because i usally stay at home anyway

 

I didn't quite get to the end of your video, @Fat Controller, but I can always come back to it :D ... I think the gist of it seemed to be that charging points are a bit hit and miss at present. I wonder if 'universal charging components' will be the norm, eventually!?

 

Poor journalism by the BBC though, Stellantis is investing in their Ellesmere port while shutting their factory in Luton.

I think the whole car market in the UK has been in decline for some years now, new registrations peaked in 2016 in the UK with nearly 2.7million new car registrations. As of the end of October, there has been just over 1.6million new car registrations in the UK this year, with private buyers showing the biggest decline.

 

Not surprising the way things have gone in the last 10yrs.
Nobody knows which way to jump and the price hike to get a comparable EV makes people think twice.
Personally I could move to an EV quite easily, I don't do long distances, but I can't afford a new one and really wary of buying second hand.
You now also have the tax changes kicking in which seem to be as complicated as possible.
