Hello all, glad to find this forum, I was on the garderers world one . Really need this now for my new venture when it starts. Ive had my name down for an allotment for 18 months - I am hoping by summer I will definetly have my allotment allocated. Its nice to talk gardening things with fellow gardeners - as other pals have noted " you are always in the garden - what do you do? ". Quite often its a tidy up, pruning - just looking after things - often nothing exciting - but its what we do , and when its something different we gardeners do get excited. Only today I spotted a lovely single red rose on a rose rambler - which I pointed out to someone - unfortunately as they are not a gardener they expected more ! Made me happy having one.

Welcome from me @gooseberry. It also gives me great joy to see a single rose bloom when you don't expect any, makes my day. Yesterday I saw that my snowdrops were just emerging which is another bonus.

Hi @gooseberry . You've found the right place. There are some lovely people on here, always willing to share advice or commiserate whether on allotments or at home.

Welcome @gooseberry, fingers crossed for the allotment! A lot of the time in my garden is spent just looking and thinking. It's amazing how much time can vanish doing that.
