The brother of one of our good friends is a missionary. Only met him once, at the wedding of our friends' daughter. He was a total pain. Talked about nothing other than himself and the great work he was doing, in his words 'enlightening those who don't believe'. Hopefully the guy you know isn't like that.

 

Just a tip, use iPlayer and watch the programmes with interesting content

 

Tesco online shopping cheers me up with their innovative suggestions. When I buy olives, they are "inspired by my choice" and suggest Mozzarella and so on.

Can anyone find what they are looking for on these channels, I know I cant, it takes me ages, so much stuff is pushed in your face when mostly you are looking for something different.

I find the search function on iPlayer is the quickest way to find a programme I want and not have to sift through all the other rubbish , but even that’s a bit fiddly! The on screen programme listing on my TV also allows you to click on individual programmes over the last 7 days to activate iPlayer and others which is also handy.

 

I wish we could access iPlayer in Ireland...

Often I dont know the exact name of the programme I'm looking for and typing with the remote is a pain, I usually try to get the category and then search through what comes up, but even then it often doesn't show all programmes in that category.

I've been know to just give up.

 

Can you get it on a PC?
