Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

It’s nice grey here. We had partly fog this morning with the odd 1 minute sunshine in between.

 

Its 8c max and another wet day without rain, it must be close to 100% humidity.
It hasn't got daylight all day, now as you know I'm not one to moan but if only we could have had these high pressure systems in the summer what a difference that would have been, this is the second blocked high pressure in the last two months and all they give us is gloom and dampness.

 

Calm and grey. 9C/48F

We have heavy snow forecast for Monday night through Tuesday and the overnight temperature predicted at -10C/14F.

 

Just another damp, grey and cloudy as it has been every day for well over a week, 8c

 

The mist and fog remained all day. It was horrible driving in it this morning - I had to go very slowly down my un-lit (grrrr) street until civilisation as the visibility was terrible.

 

All day it's been misty and damp.
Now it's dark misty and light winds from the south south west temp 6c feels like 6c

 

It has been cloudy all day and very mild. It is 31f -.5c..

The guessers say we're on the upward climb of the temperature roller coaster. They say it will continue to be "Kentish" gloomy but above freezing for several days.

Yes misty and damp all day even worse up at 2nd SDs near Hemel. Traffic was quite busy coming back only 4 junctions on the M1 but that was enough. Glad we didn't have a long drive.

 

Good morning all.
Nothing new to report, the same as yesterday: grey skies but a bit colder with 7c max.
Good news is that the frost warnings for next week have been removed.

My records say:
I have to wait until 21.1. when the morning sun will find a gap to cover one of the GH roof glasses.
On 8.2., I will get the first time sunshine that hits the ground.
On 11.2., the greenhouse will be in full sunshine for 15 minutes at 11:22 AM.
