Had to show you cat lovers this. My new tee-shirt arrived yesterday. T'other Half bought my sister and me one each in the late 90s and I came across this last week on e-Bay and had to get it ...

I like it so much I have one coming in white ...

I once bought OH this cat t-shirt. He loved it (being a Kiss fan as well as a cat lover) but it was poor quality and the print soon started coming off in the wash.

I am a dreadful cyclist but when I lived in London cycling was the easiest way to get from A to B. My OH had a tee shirt printed up for me showing a big black bat flying across my back with the words “Keep Clear. Mad Old Bat”. One taxi driver was so taken by it he drove close up beside me and shouted out that he loved the message. I nearly fell off my bike in surprise.

:heehee: Ditto ... T'other Half got this one a few months ago so too new to know lomgivity but he said he thinks it won't last long!

The quality of my black tee is superb so I hope the white will be too (fro a different supplier).

Just saying ... my cat Bella has become rather bony, and blood tests today have confirmed she has hyperthyroidism. She's going to be on medication, and I'll have to make sure she takes it, she's so fussy and it's always been difficult getting her to take anything.
Bella is 13 now but the vet told me cats can live for years with the condition as long as it is treated properly. She was a lovely vet, we've seen her before and she's always very nice to Bella. I'll be getting the medication from there tomorrow.

Oh what a worry for you. I hope the medicine works ... she may have to have a few extra treats! Keep us with with progress. I know you don't like them but ... Hugs Cat.jpeg to you both. Vxx

Hello Michael & everyone this my first post since joining last year but when I read your post I felt compelled to respond. Our cat Nel she is 12 years old was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism last Spring after losing weight and acting completely out of character, blood tests revealed her condition in the same way as your Bella, she is now on permanent medication, which I was anxious about as she is terrible to administer anything tablet wise. Our vet recommended a product called Pill Assist which I bought and I have to say it’s been a godsend, the pill is easily concealed inside the soft malleable treat and she eats it without hesitation. There are similar products available which may work just as well but I’m sticking with this as it works for her. On her last check up she had been on the tablets for 6 months and her levels had gone back to normal, she looks well and is enjoying life again. I hope you have the same success with Bella, all the best.

Thank you @Victoria, the hugs are appreciated x :cat-kittyandsmiley::smile: We'll let you know of any progress.

Thank you @ChiveTalking, I believe the medication for Bella will be in liquid form, I will be receiving it on Monday. I will put it on her food, and maybe mix it in. It's good to know about things like Pill Assist though, thanks for mentioning it, it could be useful sometime in the future.
It is encouraging to know that Nel has benefited from the medication and I'm glad she's enjoying life again.

Bella only lost weight, other than that you wouldn't say there was anything wrong, she acts eats and drinks and goes to the toilet quite normally, so at first I thought she was just getting old, but I'm glad the diagnosis has now been made.
