Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Mostly cloudy with light winds from the south south west temp 2c feels like -2c.
Everything was in a pink hue as the sun was coming up, but can't tell in the pic.

Sun is up, clear sky. a light breeze, 9c going to mid teens. a bit cooler this week and perhaps showers next week.

Good morning all ,no frost cloudy with a splash of rain,with a high of 9c

 

When I opened the curtains I thought the whole planet had gone pink. It was very pretty.

Temperatures are rising, although there may be a slight frost on Wednesday.

Looks like good gardening weather.

Max 4c today, which seems warm!

 

Very mild compared to a few days ago, sunny spells expected. Mainly dry day ahead. The days are slowly getting longer

 

Frost has gone but the ice discs from the bird bath are still largely intact, so we have a way to go. At least the sun is shining now.

Third hospital visit so far this year completed this morning; the fourth and big one is the knee replacement on Wednesday; it can't come soon enough for Bron who's in agony every time she stands.

I've finally cleared our sloping path of ice and snow but there's still a lot of compacted ice on the street. Roll on Thursday.

A balmy 10 degrees and it's wet, not sure if it has rained a bit or just the permafrost thawing out but it is very dark. Went out to the bins and the pir security light came on, that should not be on at 10.00 am really.
I empty my water butts and store them in the shed over winter, they are plastic ones I got from Wilko online, I think if they froze they might split when the ice expands. I also float a weighted plastic bottle in the wildlife pond, the idea is when the ice expands it should crush that rather than damage the liner, well that's the theory and so far it seems to work.

 

Milder this morning, almost 5C, with a bit of spitty rain in the air. The rain isn't in the forecast so I'm hoping it'll stop soon.

 

Mixed clouds today. I’ll have some fresh air in a bit and assess the temp. The unheated rooms are still cold but it feels less so in the daylight.

It will soon be Daffodil time before we know it! I’ve spotted them poking up on the verges and roundabouts.

 

It is much warmer than the "normal" for this time of year. It is 28f -2c and a light snow is falling. A good day to be inside
