I personally think that the proposed tariffs will simply backfire and cause nations to become closer to each other at the expense of America. I know Canada relies on the USA for alot of its trade but there are other markets, markets that when they begin to open up, will cause a rethink from the convicted felon.
Governments also don't follow the will of the people. It's not surprising that our government won't stick up to America at the moment, given how much economic trouble they are in but it doesn't mean that normal people aren't in support of keeping Canada free from wannabe dictators.

I also thought it was a bit stupid that because biden went to pose in front of the cameras "in suppprt" of those affected by the fires, they grounded all the fire fighting aircraft because you can't have anything in the area of air force one.

@CanadianLori I'm sorry to hear that you feel people are not sympathetic to Canada's present plight. From what I understand from a friend in Toronto, your concerns are much the same as here in the UK - inflation, cost of living, immigration and bad governance.
Whilst Trump is not yet in power ( another week to go ), he is already interfering in UK and European politics via Musk - none of us really know just how much chaos his term will cause throughout the world.
From a personal point of view, I think the man is simply mad but that doesn't mean he isn't a danger to the world as a whole. Admittedly you have him right on your border but we also have him in Scotland - no doubt he'll be after that before long

That is stupid! He'd have been better not going, making a statement of support from somewhere outside the affected area, and saying that it's more important not to interrupt the firefighting aircraft operations than to be seen to be there in person. It's not as if he has a popularity contest to win (or lose) now.

I notice on the news today that
          Netanyahu
Prime Minister of Israel is getting close to sign a ceasefire, does he think Trump will not back him like Biden has?
I hear the Ukraine war might stop soon as well.
          Who knows.
I just see Europe UK out on a limb in Ukraine and nothing to back it up.

OneDrive icon is on the right in the Taskbar in the start programs. Most of my customers don’t know how to turn this off and are really surprised when they learn that all their documents from Desktop and Documents are on the MS server. People are so trusting that Windows 10/11 is just an operating system as Windows 7 was.

Wow @Obelix-Vendée , that is beautiful to see. I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to maneuver a craft to take the solid thump when lowering on to the water to start the scoop and then lifting after getting a "belly" full.

Thank you for sharing! :blue thumb:

I had a Saturday job in Woolworths, and our branch had a deli. I'm sure non of us were properly trained to work on it. We used to have huge pies that were sold by the slice - the egg inside ham type of thing. I remember cutting into one and it was all green mould on the inside of the pastry.

I remember reading somewhere that a chef was complimented on his rice stuffing for a pheasant. He later remarked it was overhung and the stuffing was maggots, but we'll gloss over that one.

So was it actually telling me that my one drive was getting short of space?
I thought it meant my PC was getting short of space.

I've not been actually backing anything up on one drive to my knowledge.

I have Windows 11 and had to start OneDrive rather than it being in use. If you are worried about what is on it then it is easy enough to look inside and delete. I have just looked through mine and the only files in there are ones I put in (Image Creator pictures for my books). If you open the folders inside then it tells you what is in them. Highlight anything and bin what you don't want.
