Never tried them, but Parasene is a fairly well known make.

I dont think you will get much heat from it if used in a greenhouse, have you seen the price of paraffin.

What are you trying to heat, how big and to what temperature ?

With Paraffin you need to have a top vent open to allow the toxic fumes to escape which is not the best method.

Assume you do not have electricity in there , which is similarly expensive to run but can be so much more convenient and controllable, we use it to keep ours frost free at 2-3c.

The item you show is/was known as a sump heater for warming engines to aid starting. It has a flat wick and burns with a smoky flame. Unless it is perfectly maintained, it can produce fumes destructive to plants (and animal life !).
I would not personally use such in an enclosed space.

When paraffin heaters were generally used, 1950s-70s, they were 'blue-flame-heaters' which could burn cleaner and safely gave efficient warmth at lower running cost.Typically Aladdin brand 1", or 2", even a 3" which looked like a primative spacecraft! There were special basic types for greenhouses, with side extension tube options. You may chance upon same on gumtree/ebay, you may find in house clearance shops.
Only consider these if you can source replacement wicks, wick carriers and mica windows. !

Is it practical to have a proper cable run to the greenhouse and use a small greenhouse electric fan heater on its lowest frost free setting ?
Might cost more but so much more practicble as you can then use it for things like low wattage heated seed trays etc.

Just my thoughts, but I run mine at Just frost free, so around 3c min. But that's just to overwinter tender plants, nothing actually grows at those temperatures.

I just get the feeling you might be burning paraffin with few results.
