I’m afraid there are no limits to “stoopid”, @Tidemark. At least, not in the world of humans.

            True.

Hee hee, I’ve just seen a very fancy car (couldn’t tell you what but it looks expensive), unoccupied, slowly drift down the road outside our house (slick ice for the last four days) and bump into another very fancy car (ditto) that is parked downhill from it and also unoccupied. If the downhill one comes back first, and reverses away from it, the uphill one will slide into a grassy ditch. If the uphill one comes back first, I can’t see how it will gain enough traction to reverse uphill and leave.

This used to happen outside our house in Edinburgh which was opposite a private school and it was always large Volvos. Puzzled by this I phoned a dealer who told me they were designed to have snow tires fitted in bad weather as they do not have much grip. This was years ago so things may have changed by now.

That will be useful for the future! There are plans to convert a huge, former tobacco factory in this county into a prison. The tricky bit is judging what to commit. Enough for a sentence but not enough to get guillotined :roflol:

Kier Starmer and Rachel Reeves obviously had a sneak preview of the report and determined to avoid that happening to the elderly in Britain.

                      Very sad.
This was also a storyline in the Australian soap "Prisoner, Cell Block H". The oldest inmate, Lizzie, was released but missed all her friends inside and deliberately got herself jailed again.
