Well that’s two new words/terms I’ve learnt today! Looking at pictures and descriptions- I’ve seen it before and just thought mini hail. No wonder artic countries have dozens of words for snow!

 

Heard there is a bit of an Arctic blow coming through, how much colder are you expecting?

 

Yes, @pete by tonight it is supposed to be 6f -15c with the "real feel" being -20C . Brrrrr!

Is that with snow as well.

 

I think we'll get some snow but as people have said here, it might be too cold for that!

How true @JennyJB. Thanks I'm sure you're right and whats the possibilty of it being inside the garage.

Still doom and gloom here and it's set in for the day.

I'm still under lots of pressure but not as much as our pressure cooker; at dinnertime I put the pressure cooker on and a while later there was a bang and smell of burning; perhaps I should have put water and veg in? Late dinner.

I read that up North here they have "fogcicles".

Down South, so far we have missed the showers this morning. Currently brightly overcast, breezy and 15c and waiting for this evening's showers.

 

It never got daylight again today, its turning into a winter of gloom here, again day and night temperature are the same at 3c max and 2c min.

Nothing moving, even a cold wind would be interesting.

 

What month?

 

I see the sun almost every day all year, it lifts up over the horizon and then vanishes into the cloud, we might get as little as 15 minutes, but we do usually see it and the shepherds warning sky.

 

It feels fffreezing tonight despite it reading 3 degrees. Chicken dinner should warm the bones.

What's the difference between overcast & cloudy; both appear the same to me; a black hole as usual all week including Friday.



So it could snow on Friday? No trust in the weather forecasters at all.

I agree the thermometer claims to be +3 but it feels much colder, the ground was dry but the air felt damp.
