Some nice additions to your garden there @CostasK. I like the look of your Cotoneaster, one more to consider in my survey for more plant space .

Camellia "Yuletide" from Gardening Express. In flower with plenty of buds yet to bloom.
Excellent quality at a very good sale price,

That does look good @Jenny namaste!

Though I think Gardening Express is very hit and miss. I have ordered twice from them. The first time the plants were just OK. The second time the plant I ordered was terrible. These days I just avoid them.

@pete I have tried it from seed without success, different supplier. I'll be interested to hear how you get on as I would like to have another crack at it.
Shallot Zebrune I'm trying from seed as I forgot to order sets, my seed came from Real Seeds.

@ViewAhead I'd recommend it! I grew it from AGS seed many years ago. Tall, statuesque with dusky red flowers. Unfortunately it was a bit tender for rural Nottinghamshire...

I've not tried it before but had heard of it, just saw it and thought it was worth a go.

I used to get a fair few plants from them but can't remember now whether I tried seed. Their plants were good quality.
                      Good luck :)

All the Homebase stores near us shut down some time ago. There's a tiny corner in a Tesco superstore that has Homebase stuff, but very little in the way of gardening things.

Just been in Homebase. Seems to be 50% off most things now, and the chap in front of me was buying a pile of round stepping stones which were down from £6 to £1.80 each.

I would have had some things to show but the lovely Hellebores in B&M Bargains were £12 ! and the small Polyscias balfouriana was £10, and since the last two I've tried have died I didn't think it was worth spending that much on another one, especially since it was only about 5 inches high and loose in the soil.
The P. fruticosa I bought a while ago has lasted well, with a big dose of neglect ! but I've found the P. balfouriana are more difficult to keep.

I bought some colourful Primroses last week in B&M but I haven't taken a picture of them.

My latest purchase, to help me get my large osteospermums into the garage on cold nights. Half-price in the Homebase closing down sale. :blue thumb: Not as exciting as buying a plant, of course.
