Busy needles since Christmas.
The yarn is Hayfields Spirit. Couldn't resist it at almost half price.

 

That's so cute @Valley Gardener. I can't knit toys because the faces all end up looking evil.

A quick sketch of an elephant I did as one of the 'monthly challenges' on an art forum I belong to. The frame is digital
I'm not really satisfied with it myself but I did it quickly in about half an hour ...

 

If I could do anything like that @Michael Hewett I'd be overjoyed. Zero artistic skills here

Which bit arent you entirely happy with?
That's a big ask in half an hour!

 

To me it looks as if the head is detached from the body, and he also looks rather startled

 

I think if he were mine,I would soften the under jawline a little,more misty ish,and just give him a heavier eyelid,more half closed.
But tbh,you have done a brilliant job,I love it.

I wish there was an art group near me.
I had to change this 3 times! Scraped paint off,changed colours,moved crosses etc.
A very fussy client.

What medium did you use? Graphite. It suits the texture of the skin.

 

Here's one I finished yesterday. @Ladybird4 will recognise it, I hope.
Coloured pencils on pastelmat. I draw freehand, so my pawtraits are a bit hit and miss.
