Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Same here @JennyJB, too soon to get confident with spring planting, I'll have to hold back .

 

The sun is (mostly) out! I notice that it’s going be very cold on the weekend, with possible sleet or snow into next Monday. I was keeping an eye out after @pete said about a cold snap coming, but it’s only appeared today on the forecast for here.

 

Sunny intervals and light winds from the south west temp 9c feels like 8c.

No planting yet. I've just been out cutting back last year's growth (mostly perennials) so I'll be able to actually see the daffodils when they flower. I chucked a bit of compost around too (not really thick enough to call it mulch) and dug out some brambles and creeping buttercup, and some lamium that was getting ideas of grandeur.

 

Our high was 15,5c but that sharp wind from the NW is still with us so brrr in the lovely sunshine. Today our sunset is at 6pm

 

Its been getting slowly cloudier all day, 8c now.

I've not even started anything in the greenhouse yet, let alone anything outside.

Impatient me has even waited.

 

We got out of the freezer and are now at 34f 1c and cloudy. The guessers have said to put our snow suits back on because it is a one day reprieve. Tomorrow it is back to the freezer.

 

Yesterday and today were lovely sunny days and it got up to 9c. Such a tonic.

Tomorrow a band of rain will pass over, but it will be 10c. Next week it will be back to minus figures.

It should be mild-ish today (I’m talking 8 degrees) but after tomorrow we are set for a cold spell of max temps of 5 and freezing nights.
