I too heard that Trump isn't going to deport Harry - I imagine he would find it rather difficult anyway as surely H is a "legal immigrant" as married to a US citizen. Not sure which country he would deport him/them to .
Trump is certainly a danger - both to his own country and the rest of the world.

A few of Trump's senators have said he is going too far. :noidea: I think he may be building up problems for himself for the mid term elections.

That was said on the BBC this morning, during yet another in depth analysis of him, they just cant stop talking about him:roflol:

Half, or more, of what he says never comes to fruition.

I just dont know where she intends they are going to go.

Its like WE WILL build 1.5million but no plans as to where, or the infrastructure to go with them.
I forsee most of them being empty, if left to private developers to build, anyway because nobody will be able to afford them.

According to her, this mass building will make house prices come down, renting becomes easier. According to everyone else, that's cobblers, there's a lack of skills, people, materials and infrastructure.
It says the desired rate of building hasn't been seen since the 70s and noone ever has said how charming and desirable their 70's house is because they were slapped up using sticky tape and asbestos

A 70s house will outlast one built in the last 20 yrs.
I dont think house building has ever been as shoddy as it is now.

Lots of it looks like something out of a film set, all good at the front and just rubbish behind.

                And that's the expensive ones.

It's a good theory but only if most of the houses are built in a short period of time - just a few years.

So now the old recommended dose of Vitamin D for old men like me is 100 times too high. Great except that one tablet is that size so how does one reduce a tiny pill by 90%? Try buying a 10mcg does, no one does it.

But who in their right mind builds houses in a situation where the price is falling.

What is the change in recommended dose of Vitamin D? Is it not 10micrograms still? I can get these from the high street pharmacists, health food shops and supermarkets. I have used up slightly higher doses by snapping the tablet in half, and taking it every few days rather than daily.

The NHS website says that you can take Vitamin D every day on days when the sun doesn’t shine on your skin, or if you have dark skin, but you shouldn’t take more than 100 microgrammes per day. Holland and Barrett sell Vitamin D3 tablets that are 25 microgrammes and you can easily chomp those in two.

The local Co-op also sells mushrooms that have been treated with ultra violet light, which enhances their Vitamin D content.

Vitamin D is needed for the body to absorb calcium. Without calcium you get all kinds of problems.

@Palustris I don't know where you have got that info but from what you are saying you seem to be taking 1,000mcg (µg). If you are after 100µg then you can buy Vitamin D3 capsules or tablets in that quantity.

                          As an example:-
                          https://www.lambertshealthcare.co.uk/vitamin-d/

It is also recommended to take Vit K2 with D3.

If you happen to be diabetic then you can always ask for them to give you your Vit D readings when they take your blood for your other tests.

That's why it won't happen unless local authorities are given the money to build them - like they did in the old days.

The biggest problem with Thatcher and her right to buy was not mandating that the money received for the sale of council houses had to be used to build more council houses. Instead she told councils they should use the money for other council services. An idiotic rule.

If she had said the money could only be used for building more houses the market price would be considerably lower and we would have had sufficient public housing stock.
