0c and frostyish at the moment and going up to 4c. But it is sunny! Tomorrow is full sun. But as it warms up this week there will be rain and wind, which is a shame.

Still haven't been properly out in the garden yet.

It did look promising at dawn, thought we might get some sun, but it has vanished into the clouds, dry, calm and 3 degrees.

Non-weather this morning - cool but not frosty, grey but not raining, no wind.

A grey and chilly day. Again.

Something happening on Wednesday as the temperatures lift and we may see double figures by Thursday and for the weekend.

Still cold by our standards, about 3c first thing this morning. We are actually seeing the sun for what seems like the first time in months (actually apparently nearly 2 weeks).

It is 15f -9c and the sun shone on us for a few minutes. The guessers say that later this morning we will sink down to 12f -12c and snow squalls will make it feel like -21c 5f. And @Victoria that is why I cannot utilize the snow for gardening, we won't get a real thaw until sometime in April. The day time highs next month will go a little above freezing but the nights will still be well below. The gardens will be good and wet in May!

The snow plow came in the middle of the night and left a row of hardened snow across the end of the driveway that is about 3 feet wide by 2 feet deep. :doh:My driveway is about 20 feet across so another nasty bit of shoveling but hopefully it will be that last of the giant dump. :fingers crossed:

The sun's come out now (only hazy, don't get too excited!), but it's still finger-nippingly cold. Just ventured out to put the kitchen bits in the compost bin.

There was a slight frost overnight, now it's a very pleasant day in the sun. 6c but feels warmer, maybe I've got used to 2c or less over the last few weeks.

I predict that the weather will be much warmer from today.
Just bought 4 long sleeved thermal tops.

The sun burnt off the frost but the temperature didn't go above 3C. Turned out to be the sunniest day this month.

Not difficult seeing that we are just over 20% down on sunshine for the same 17 days last February.

Surely, as the days get longer any day without clouds will be the sunniest day this month.:biggrin:

Sun was hazy at times but no clouds as such, 6c.
