Sorry Caroline. Somehow I missed this.

Yes, they go in The Baffa, a detached living room from the house which has glass on four walls and they go on the South and West windowsills. They are watered once every to four weeks and the leaves drop See up above on 11 November when they went in for the Winter..

I've only got the one plant now, its in the conservatory, gave it a good drink last week and new growth is appearing, would be good to get it outside this summer but I need the weather to be good enough.

Not really, it depends on conditions its been growing in, I'd guess 5 or 6 but they grow slower here.

Okay, decided on a pot, cut some of the root off, doused with Cinnamon powder and planted. Put in line but on an upturned saucer for height aesthetics. :heehee:

I was reading something recently about this. That some people go for the fat caudex and others for the branches and it explained how to achieve each. I am pleased O have both and am anxious when they all bloom.

I started with these when I lost my mobility as they can be kept in a contained space.

I think that's why I like Beaucarnea and cacti. My Beaucarnea died last winter - I think it was too damp in the greenhouse for it.
