I rarely moan about it specific company, but will make an exception now.
I ordered 2 x 20kg sacks of Westland Potting Grit from a company called PERFECT2TRADE Ltd, through Amazon. The items were due to arrive BY 24/3. This was then altered to BY 27/3. I took a screenshot to prove this.
After 9pm on 27/3, the latest time Yodel is supposed to deliver, I tried to find out where my package is. I'm informed that I cannot chase until the following day - the 28/3.
I looked early this morning, and my package is now listed as lost. So I put in for a refund. However, Amazon tells me I cannot, because I didn't do so within 48 hours of the due date, which has now conveniently been changed back to 24/3.
Is this a scam orchestrated by the seller, or by Amazon?
Either way, BEWARE!!

I would push Amazon on this. You should be able to get a refund from them. Contact them rather than the seller. A scam on their marketplace is not a good look.

 

That is an expensive way of buying it, I paid about £5.00 last year at a local GC.
They might say free delivery, but they just add it into the unit price.
Complain vigourously to all three companies and then let us know how it goes.
I've had packages reported as lost the day after I've received them.

 

Never understood why people think Amazon itself would scam you, it's not worth it for them.

 

Looks as if DT and the Whitehouse are preparing to back whichever of Putin or Zelensky over the largest amount offered in natural resources, facilities, free labour etc.
Meanwhile every day brings The Trump Gaza Resort a few bombs closer.

 

As a non-driver and a weakling, buying from the local GC isn't possible for me. I buy things like that from B&Q with home delivery. I wait until I need a few things so the delivery charge isn't too big a proportion of the total price. This time I ordered several bags of compost and various other items which came to enough to get me free delivery, and on a Saturday too! I get the delivery guy to stack the compost bags in my garage.

I always tell my wife to "investigate before you invest".
I didn't do enough, clearly. I don't think of Trustpilot, and often assume a dissatisfied person is more likely to leave feedback.
In this case, I've added my own.
It's only been my second ever poor experience through Amazon. Strangely, the other item I purchased at the same time, arrived a couple of days ago.
