I ve had this climbinmg rose for well over 5 year. I get nice blooms towards/at the top; all bare stems beneath . I would like to encourage even growth throughout the plant. Should I prune the top aspects, and keep them pruned throughout the season?
    TIA

Hi, those stems look reasonably flexible and you've obviously got the right idea about bending them over. They just need to be bent more until almost horizontal. The two stems at the front could be pruned low down and will sprout new growth to fill in a bit
