This morning I put on my heavy jacket, wax cotton cap, and leather gloves. My wife looked at me as if I'd gone mad! "I'm off to prune the Mahonia" I declared
For once I succeeded, no scratches no cuts, all cut up with loppers and in the green bin
Then dressed more normally I weeded one border that's infested with lesser celandine. , it came in with some bought in mulch, really annoying.

My Polemonium has had new growth showing pretty much all winter. I bought some bare root Geranium Alba from Farmer Gracy this year and those are potted up with a few leaves opening.

Ah … not looking hopeful for mine then. I got 3 plants from a seller. One died within a few weeks, the Polemonium struggled for a couple of months, reaching the grand height of 6” and having one flower stalk, and the 3rd is still alive but is not the variety advertised. Not the most successful £18 I’ve ever spent. :th scifD36:

              Crikey, @Hanglow! :help:

Washed green mold off a couple of terracotta pots ... look like new now. Cut back a Coleus we have had for several years. Watered Adeniums. Did a snip here and there. It is 23c now so have come in for lunch, bagels ans cream cheese.

I’ve sown Cosmos today - 3 different varieties: light pink, a darker pink and a dwarf white.
One of my favourites for Summer.

I went to greenhouse to sow some beetroot into modules, ended up spending the whole afternoon in the garden . I pricked out some more little gem lettuce, then had a bit more of a move round in there. Then I potted up 8 Philadelphus cuttings. I hadn't expected such a complete strike rate.

Sorry to hear about your arm @Penny_Forthem
