Grevillea semperflorens, repotted from this 9cm pot and might need winter protection on very cold nights.

Hiya @katecat58 - yes that's the one, just past the Bonis Hall Lane junction. It really is a lovely place isn't it?

@LunarSea, it is lovely - and the family who run it are great too. I am probably there at least once a week.

On leaving my local botanic gardens this afternoon, I had a look around the plants for sale area and these five were transported by trolley to the pay desk . All in 3 litre pots, good healthy plants, most at £7.99 :hapydancsmil:. I have space, somewhere, I think .

@strongylodon my semperflorens has lived outside in a pot for years. But it's looking a bit manky now (despite still being in flower) so I need to take cuttings.

Thank you @Victoria. I wondered if you or @strongylodon had any tips for success with this plant please. I've read to treat it like Lavender and to grow in nutrient poor, well drained soil and sun. I have a place in mind on the bank in my lower garden.

My little Appleblossom Impatiens from ebay have arrived …

                    :hapydancsmil:

Looking beautifully healthy and still nicely moist. :yay:

Now all potted on. I need the weather to warm up sharpish as my windowsill space away from radiators and not in direct sun is limited.

Where did you buy the Helenium @Plantminded ?

I had a look here around but they all have only bedding plants or like Bampton, the Spring plants.

But then we have a moisture-retentive soil. You'll probably need to beef yours up a touch
