I'm happy today, but can't quite put my finger on what it is that i am happy about. Work is stressful at the moment, yet i went to work singing this morning (luckily i was alone in the car). I think it is a mixture of the excitement of my new garden, my lovely little nephews who are 3 and 9 months, and this forum that is making me so happy!:dbgrtmb:

Could it also be that Val's dog has had a pooh? :heehee:

Today is a wonderfully sunny day with the birds singing and the prospect of doing some pottering in the garden is burgeoning in my mind. :dbgrtmb:

Will I get around to it? Watch this space. :heehee:

Here's a reason to be cheerful - from today the evenings start to get lighter again. :yahoo:
It's all to do with the earth's orbit, tilt of axis and the way we measure time etc.
Although the shortest day is not until the 22nd, the earliest sunset is actually today. From now on the time of sunset is a little later every day.
By New year's Day the sun will already be setting about 10 minutes later than it did today, by the middle of January it will be nearly half an hour later. :hapfeet:
Well, it makes me happy, anyway. :o
