I'd be getting mixed messages if I were a bird, but well done Sargent:thumbsup:

Like the idea for the nest box Eddie,

I reckon you could make money out of this idea using different animals. A squirrel comes to mind for starters. :)

The thought had crossed my mind, and I have already made a second (neater) cat, but still need to refine the assembly side of things. I'm just a fussy git and hate seeing screws or nails on show.
I reckon the list of animals including reptiles could be quiet large. I fancy making a snake next.
My wife did say no to the idea of me doing a human version though!!!:D

I also need to get the construction time down as well to make it viable. It takes two hours to make the cats.:( The thing in my favour though, is that they are oak, not some horrid pressure treated wood.

One of the best bird boxes that I have is made from oak logs. It is very simple and the birds almost fight over who gets it.:D It also has a swivel base to clean it out, which was something that I did today. The down side of it, is that it must weigh 5kgs! I'll try and take a photo of it tomorrow.

The squirrel is now sitting on top of a fence post by the road side, and I have now also made a little mouse, but need to find a proper place for it.

You have some brilliant wood carvings in Wales and if that is where this is, why has no one carved it yet. What a missed opportunity, although it does look pretty rotten.
