 I cannot think why as I am certainly not having that problem, but it seems some of you are..

:dunno: I am not sure why, but do you use Internet Explora to log on to GC..? Sometimes & I have no idea why but sometimes Explora users have many more log in problems than the rest of us who use Mozilla Firefox or Google or the like... :dunno:

    I like VBulletin.

Just one small point. Most of the threads in the Water Gardening Section, which, as everyone knows, is the most important section in Gardeners' Corner, :D have gone missing.

I had this same problem on all other sub-forums.
You need to go to your User CP (Control Panel)
    Then click on 'Edit Options'
Then scroll down to 'Thread Display Options'
Change the drop down labelled 'Default Thread Age Cut Off' to 'Show all threads'

I've just had to log back in for the fourth time in the last 2 hours.

    I'm using Firefox as usual.

    Thanks John.
    That worked magically.
Don't understand why the default isn't to show all threads instead of just five. Five's a bit mean. :D
    Anyways, fixed now.

With regards to logging out issues.

I had the same earlier (using Firefox also), I went to 'Tools' on Firefox, and then 'Clear recent history' and check the box 'cookies', then click 'Clear now'.

You will then have to log in again, make sure that the 'remember me' is ticked, login, and you should have no more issues being logged out.

    Hope this helps

    :)

I've cleared my cookies [Firefox] (JUST for this site), and that seems to have fixed it

Has anyone else had their birthday "americanised" My birthday is 10th April i.e. 10.04.??? but in my details i is shown as 4th October i.e. the reverse! It doesn't really matter since it makes me six months younger and that has to be a bonus!!

I've now got a DoB of April 4 19xx, rather than 20 April 19xx, so have been made 16 days older (or maybe I'm senile and couldn't get it right in the first place), but it's probably OK considering how I actually feel right now after all the digging I've been doing over the last few days.

I wonder how old you need to be before updating one's DoB becomes an option?

I'm assuming if I do this I will then have to go through the process of logging back into other sites I use which are causing me no problems.
One hell of a lot of passwords to sort out if that is fact?

    Plus other lost info.

Had to log in twice now in less than half an hour
