Not after the way I played last night  :cry3:

    Good morning everyone,

I'm not on best form this morning after having suffered with very bad cramp in my left ankle two days ago, very bad cramp in my right calf yesterday (someone offered me their crutches last night :heehee:) and an extremely painful shoulder since yesterday . Apart from that - I'm fine

I'm not sure what I'll do today . If the weather brightens up I'll try and hobble around and do some mowing, go to the library, and generally laze around.

    Have a great day :D

    Hello EVeryone,

Kandy, you're right about them motivating. I have lost over two stone since that bout of sciatica and now yesterday the gout came back. It's not the classic gout instead of involving the joint of the big toe it is the opposite side of the foot I just cannot bear to put it to the ground it is the same pain as gout. I was wondering if the antibiotics the doc gave me to cure an infection in my waterworks was the culprit. I finish them today so hopefully this will go off. It does mean I have had to double up on the tramadol again back to the original prescription dose. I am getting so fed up with being in pain. Somehow I have to get Amber to the vet today, thankfully my son Steve is at home and he can drive me in my car and I can have Amber on my lap. She is having the second of her inoculations.

I hope you are all ok and stay safe and well. Have a good day all.

Shiney, you can't expect to win all the time so it must be nice for the prizes to be given to someone who played a little bit better than you did:love30::mute::D Sorry to hear about your cramp and hope it gets better soon especially if Mrs Shiney can help with it.I think a lot of it is to do with the weather but can reccomend Piroxicam Gel for ankle pains:yess:My shoulder is still giving me jip but I just use my good arm instead more to give it a rest :D

Moyra, you might need to have a word with your Dr as he knows your medical history regarding the gout problem.I only have bowel problems when i have antibiotics, but have found since I have been on the Metformin I am experiencing muscle pains in my arms especially during the night when i am at rest and have to keep massaging them when they wake me up.I think you fall apart more when you get older especially if you are more of an active type of person as oppossed to being the couch potato variety:DHope you manage to get Ambers jabs sorted with the help of your son:dbgrtmb:

Penny can you send some of your heat over to us as we have rain at the moment, but don't send too much of the hot stuff as we had it in the 30's a couple of years back when we were in the IoW and it was a killer:DLook are Natalie and hope she is soon back on her feet so to speak:)

Good morning Kandy and everyone and hope you are all bright and breezy on this lovely sunny day:D

As it is so nice today I have been outside dead heading the roses and have made a start on tidying up excess growth on some of the plants that have put on quiet a lot of growth since we have started getting a bit more rain, but still see we have some deep wide cracks in the borders that I am going to have to fill with old compost and a bit of ash which might help to lighten up the soil a bit...:)

As we have rain forecast for this afternoon and I have finished having a quick cuppa i had best go and get started again while the sun still shines:D

Have a good day everyone in all that you do :)

    Good morning Kandy and everyone,

Kandy, I get trouble with at all times of the year. I've had the problem for the last 50 years and even ended up in hospital once (1963) with it. They had to inject me with something because the muscle wouldn't relax. :cry3:

I shall give the sun a little time to try and dry out the grass and then I'll try and do some mowing. I've got Mrs shiney's hair to do first :D

We've just had a dishwasher repair man in as we got a letter from the manufacturer that there is a possible problem with the machine overheating. We've had the machine 6 years with no trouble :dbgrtmb:. He came in and changed a part (no charge) and it only took him 15 minutes. He said there was nothing wrong with our machine but he had to change the part anyway.

    Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

We had a fair drop yesterday evening so couldn't get our usual walk done but at least I managed to get the jobs done in the garden i wanted to do so am pleased about that.We also got some of the shallots cleaned up that have been drying off in the sun room and are pleased with the size of some of them this year although there were a few that had to be thrown out where they had started to rot so good job we didn't leave them in the ground any longer:D

      Shiney:heehee:

      Have a good day everyone:D

      Good morning everyone,

We had some heavy rain for half an hour at 9 p.m. yesterday and the ground is still wet - but the sun is trying to come out. :sunny:

I got a lot of mowing done yesterday and Mrs shiney filled up the wheelie bin with the wild poppies by the footpath. All this rain has filled out the rhubarb and I sold some at bridge last night. :thumb:

I shall be going into town today to do the shopping although I don't like going on a Saturday. They have a special offer giving 10p per litre off the price of petrol if you spend £60 but the offer finishes this weekend. As I need 65 litres in the car tank and 8 litres for the mower it will save me over £7 :dbgrtmb:

The sun has just come out :yahoo:

When the grass has dried out I shall do some more mowing.

      Have a great day :D
