Louise ,that is the same with us here, we have had several BT engineers out already and our 7th visit is due this week. It is an intermittent problem which is difficult to find but so frustrating for us (ME)
    hope yours gets sorted quickly.

    Good morning everyone,

Moyra, hope the hospital appontment goes ok and things turn out well for you.:thumbsup:Sometimes the mammogram doesn't get the right results ie meaning the film picture they take isn't easily read {not clear enough}so thye will do another one just to make sure.Is your kidneys going to be looked at at the same consultation?Good Luck anyway and try not to worry too much altough i know it isn't easy...

We had quiet a bit of breezy weather yesterday so didn't venture far but I expect I am going to have to treck over to the lottie to see what damage has been done to everything and to pick some more fruit and veggies:)

    Have a good day everyone:)

      Good morning :D

Lillie, the line rental, the calls and Broadband are all with Sky so it's them we call - the problem was dealt with within about 15 minutes flat and i'm very impressed with their service, from the time of ringing them to the time it got sorted was about 6 hours !
I didn't report the problem for days because i presumed it would sort itself out, wish i'd rung immediately now :wallbang:
I'll know better next time :WINK1:

      Morning Everyone,

Thanks Kandy, no I have not received the appointment for the ultrasound scan on my kidneys yet. I am just hoping all goes well this afternoon. I suspect that what they may be seeing is bruising from young Amber bouncing on my chest like a trampoline! Lets hope that is all it is. Will let you know tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, hope the rain holds off but more importantly that blessed wind drops its awful. Moyra xx

      Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all ok.

Kandy, I went to the clinic yesterday afternoon, two areas of concern a patch of fibrous tissue, which hasn't changed since my last x-rays in 2008 and a benign cyst which he suggests leave alone unless it becomes troublesome. So that's a relief. Glad to get that behind me. Lets hope the kidney ultrasound will be as fortuetous.

      Have a good day everyone.

      Good afternoon everyone,

Quiet busy at the moment as it is that time of the year when there is a lot of harvesting to be done plus a lot of it has to be prepared for winter storage and then there is the front and back gardens to get sorted ready for their hibernation so it is all go at the moment,phew..:D

Shiney glad you have had some sunshine inbetween the heavy rain showers and hope everything is looking nice and green and lush.I expect you have an umbrella, wellies and a boat so everything should be fine:heehee:

Moyra fingers and toes crossed for you and hope that the kidneys are a bit better as you need them to keep you going so to speak.Lets hope the other part stays calm and doesn't turn into anything nasty. At least they are keeping an eye on it which is the main thing

I don't know about everyone else but i am glad that it is friday but not looking forward to the high winds and heavy rain people are talking about for the next few weeks :what:

Have a good afternoon everyone and long may it remain:sunny:

Hi Louise,From where I live you are down in the South West not up here as in your post:D

I was listening to GQT{Gardeners Question Time} this afternoon and the weather forecaster was saying that we are due another tail end of yet another Hurricane that has been a problem elsewhere so the wind is going to build up quiet a lot of the weekend and into the new week,so nothing surprises me:rolleyespink:

I think there was mention on one of the threads that we are supposed to be getting 65mph winds as suggested by the Daily Express so it must be right.I just take it as it comes and always make sure I take some waterproofs with me and a dry change of clothing as i hate to walk anywhere wearing wet clothes:D
