    Finally Wrestled the Varmit onto some scales 8 & a half Stone, or 119lb.

      Couldn't manouver him round all the other stuff on the plot so have brought the next biggest one back to carve, its gone a bit pummy on the underside but will do the job.

          I think he had trouble fitting that monster on the back seat. Looks like a bit of a squash! :D

              So Ziggy...we are both joint second with our 119lbs 'kins. For anyone who did not visit my blog to see the pics of mine...here it is from both sides, now at home on my patio...awaiting a sculpter.:loll:

                Hang on there, I haven't measured mine yet. If it's grown by 70 lbs in the last week then I might just pip you :D

                  I'm not sure if this is relevant but my pumpkin looks different from Steve's or Ziggy's.
                  Almost a different type:scratch:

                  Mine stopped growing in August but it never ripened to that all over yellow that your two seem to have achieved.
                  I'm guessing we all had the same seed.

                  All the same seed |Pete, original source was from an 800lb+ 'kin grown in Canada, the seed from that came from a 1503 'kin.

                  Mine was yellow right from the get go.

                  Yours grew well though Pete.

                  We still have not seen a shot of Ziggys biggun yet, any chance Zig..with aomething in the shot to give it more scale than a milk bottle?
