My posts keep going for 'moderation'

Anyone know why my posts keep going for moderation before appearing? My first thread is here: http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/garden-design-help-t32236.html

I posted again on this last night, but it's still not appeared, yet when I started a new thread about some privets, it went on straight away without moderation?? http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/new-privet-hedgei-t32475.html

Hope someone can shed some light on this

 

Guessing, but perhaps because you have low post numbers then if your post includes external links, or images, they are held for moderation?

Try a TEST post with no such links?

 

How do you know if your post has gone for Moderation? Are you getting a message saying so or does your post just not appear?

Could it be you are looking in Preview and then close the window without having clicked on Submit your post? It is such an easy/silly thing to do irrespective of how many posts you have made.

 

Yes - it happened on my first thread post (which I also assumed was because it was to safeguard against spam), but then not on my second in the introductions area. My third post went for moderation, then my fourth didn't. I got a screen saying it required validation/approval from a moderator first, but just tried to replicate it (to get a screenshot) but all seems to be working fine now
