I transplanted a 4-5 year old rowan about a month ago, it has just started to bud, could I transplant it agin now or should I wait until the autumn?

I would leave it be, unless its an emergency. Having said that, its not going to be too thrilled being transplanted twice in 12 months ... I just think its late for transplanting, but for something only-just-planted it may not have made any head-way as yet.

I was given an "apple tree" and I put it in my orchard now it's showing some new leaves and its a Rowan I. Now I don't know what to do, think I may just move it and keep my fingers crossed. Or should I be patient and leave it for 4/5 months?

Personally I would wait until the autumn (October/November time), once the leaves have fallen and the new growth would be maturing. The ground will still be holding some warmth too, hopefully then it will settle and establish itself again before the onset of winter.

I have to agree with everyone else that it would be best to leave it,and that is the sensible advice.:dbgrtmb: But on saying that I have just moved a 4 year old Rowan, but then I take chances that most would,nt:WINK1::)
