I'm with the guy who said if the Olympics were being held in his back garden he wouldn't get off the sofa to go and look and by the same token, if 'the wedding' was being held in the Church opposite my house (well, almost opposite), I wouldn't bother looking out of the window. I would, however, have rented out all the window space to the paparazzi for embarrassingly large sums of money!!

We are supposed to be having a street party in our road, which I wouldn't have minded, nice to have a social get together and hopefully no-one will bring a TV. Now I see it's forecast heavy showers, that would be a shame :heehee:

      Two more days to wait.
HOUSEWIVES OF THE WHOLE WORLD, are you making the COUNTDOWN to the EVENT ?
Yes, because that's "THE HOUSEWIVES' EVENT" :-) hehehehehehe
In the same way as for men a football world-cup final, rugby world-cup final, tri-nations rugby competition, six nations championship and what-have-you are THE EVENTS (do you know how men follow these events in briefs and undershirt with a beer in hand in front of the telly ?) so for HOUSEWIVES this one is THE EVENT.
And in the same way as men would comment of the sports events ("it was penalty !", "it was not penalty !", "it was offside !", "it was not offside", and so forth) at the pub, so HOUSEWIVES comment on such events as Royal Weddings ("the bride's veil was too long", "actually it was too short", "the bride's dress was TOO WHITE", etc. :-))) hehehehehehe).
Also HOUSEWIVES have their places where to comment on...
Men have Pubs, HOUSEWIVES have the Laundry-shop, the Hairdresser-shop, etc.
      Hehehehehehe :-)
Do you know all the "chit-chat", the gossip, the rumors.... :-) hehehehehehe

But, on my opinion, this ROYAL WEDDINGS are a more outstanding event that a world final.
Because a world final comes - say - every four years.
      The ROYAL WEDDINGS don't.
So I would compare it - say - to a WORLD-CUP FOOTBALL FINAL ENGLAND VS SCOTLAND.
      What do you think !

      Anyway,
HOUSEWIVES ENJOY YOUR ROYAL WEDDING ! (my Wife and my Mum are making the countdown to the event too... ;-) )
