Well, the rain has arrived yet again so I have spent a wee bit of time on the computer uploading some photos from earlier ....

My super double Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is single in it's first blooms this year ...

And my dreaded Passiflora caerulea (which I cannot get rid of come hell or high water) has opened it's first blooms ... albeit they are pretty ..

Heya there Pete .. well, you know when something blooms you just have to photograph it ... :heehee:

Did I send you Hibiscus seeds? ... or was it Sis? :WINK1: Ah, or you talking about the giant one Newbiscus? Mine has only just sent up shoots this past week ...

I just love your Cactus ... sorry, didn't say about the others on last month's thread but they are all so stunning ... (maybe you can put them up on UKEG?) ...

And I am so jealous of your Brachychiton ... mine looks like a stick with some new growth ... :what:

The Chilopsis is branching out nicely so may have several blooms this year and the Canna is up and running with a glorious dark red streak on one leaf .. will photograph soon ...

Simbad .. I will go 4-6 months now without a drop of rain after May/June so I don't complain ... the ground desperately needs the heavy rains we have now to make it through summer. Strangely I still have to water every few days we don't have rain at the moment ... :dunno:

Tulips are coming to an end. Vicky, the water on some of them is because of me watering things as we haven't had rain for a couple of months.

Angelica, normally 6 or 7ft but only around 4ft this year, lack of rain I'd say.
