name these plants

    The first one looks like a very large specimen of Fat Hen underplanted with Ground Elder,both of which are weeds. The second image is of a Laburnum.:dbgrtmb:

      will rip it out later!
      the little plant you can see in the bottom left corner last year gave me little yellow flowers, so kind to come back! :loll:

          The first one is not Fat Hen, I don't think it's a weed but can't place it - sorry. Not sure about the underplanting, it looks more like mint, but that doesn't have yellow flowers.

            the little one is not mint, as that is one of a few plants I know besides it doesnt smell like it :) - but thanks for your thoughts anyway

            not sure about the large one being Daisy either as the stem is very soft and not thin / not like a stick ... hope it make sense

              the small plant underneath is, I think, yellow loosestrife? Small, yellow star-like flowers, all around the stem, at each break of leaves?

                I agree with Loosestrife, we have it in the garden and it comes back every year and makes a lovely show.

                The leaves of the other plant look sort of like the Margerite that we also have in the garden.
