Mine are probably 6 inches shorter than yours:

My elephant garlic looks much sturdier than previous years:

    Fleeced up

    There may be frost tonight!

I've moved as much as I can out of the greenhouse and covered the big tomato plants in fleece:

    Early spuds:

Runner beans (with Ziggy/Shiney style cloche):

Outdoor planted Walking Stick cabbage, with temp cold frame:

All tender stuff tucked up indoors for the night (including one of my Walking Stick cabbage plants):

This is cold damage on my smaller tomato plants that have been in my unheated greenhouse for weeks, the leaves go purple and the plant looks very unhappy:

4 deg C forecast for nearest town tonight, and it's generally 2 deg less than that out in open countryside. I'll check it tomorrow whilst measuring the girth of my elephant garlic stems!

:D I was hoping my neighbour didn't spot me taking photos up the garden with my tape measure earlier, I turned the flash off so I wasn't so obvious, if I don't post again you'll know she has reported me ...
