    I posted a pic of a clay spade I inherited on the 'mystery object' thread, but it was not recognised for what it was.

    I also have a couple of even more stylised clay spades that were even more probably made by the village blacksmith:

    Does anybody else have anything else like these?

    They're great Scrunge :thumbsup:

    Not got one of those, but I have been restoring a few tools dragged from the hedgerow,

    Got one of those drills, and various multi pronged hay forks (great for close combat with rats).

    I tried to edit the thread title to 'old gardening tools' but this forum software doesn't permit editing of title.

    Perhaps a Mod could ammend it?
