More questions from a newbee (sorry).

I'm very linited for space, i have a strech approx 12 feet long, 6 feet of this i have placed an old door with 3 glass panels over the top, its approx 6 inches from the soil level.

At the moment i have some carrots growing, but not sure what else i could put in there.



And i have created a small 4 x 4 foot plastic covered ( greenhouse), on top of my shed roof.

In there i'm growing about 12 cucumber plants, will this be ok, i can open one side when i need to so the air can get in, but not sure how often i should do this.

I was going to pickle some, still to be true i wanst sure how many cucumbers id get from one plant.

Plus the seed was in the packet and i thought sod it.

 

Something I often think .... particularly in the garden!!
