      Not sure about the frost thing. The damage is not on the younger softer leaves, but on the larger leaves which would, by their very size, require more water. Just a thought. Nothing to worry about though, the rest of the plant looks grand

        my gunnera does that but only and always after a lot of wind so wind damage ive always put it down to

          thanks x we have had a lot of wind ruth but will the leaves stay like that all summer ???

          we get loads of wind as well (that sounds bad) mine stay like that but doesnt really bother me the size is immpressive enought to ignore wee flaws :D

          thinking about ruth we did give a massive tarmpoline to the scrapmen which was situated a bit behind it a month back so i bet that had protected in the past maybe....o well il have to move my small shed there or treat myself to a potting shed :D good excuse to get one :hapfeet: cheers ruth :thumb:

          Cut the offending stem off and help the whole plant look better :)
