What are these 2 plants?

    I am very new to gardening . And I have 2 unknown plants i got from a pack of wild flower seeds; I would like to know what are they ? Thanks a lot.

    :scratch: Hi Cathy, I feel I should know the 1st but cannot think what it is & the 2nd is I think Scentless May-weed or another name Corn Feverfew...

    First one reminds me of Shepherds Purse but not certain .Second looks like fennel

    You could have a point there about the 2nd Dave.. Do the leaves smell of anything on the 2nd plant if you rub them or crush them gently cathy..??

      Second one looks like Dill, but as with any unidentified umbellifer, don't eat it till you are 100% sure, there are some humdingers of poisonous ones in that family.

      Post another pic when it flowers Cathyland.

      oh , sorry,i forgot to say that i live in France, the seed pack i got from Lidl .

      i just did rub the leaves by my fingers, it does has some kind of smell; but i dont know how to tell. I think its smell like grass, sorry, for English isnt my mother language.

      Just rubbed some dill together, smells a bit of anise and, yes, a bit like grass.
