Hi I'm new to this forum and new to gardening. I've recently moved back to the UK and to a house with a large garden. For the past couple of months we've been taking down walls, putting in bathrooms etc., now it's time to focus on the garden (although the house is far from finished)
The garden has, at one point, been loving created and tended but has been neglected for quite a few years. As the user name suggests, I know pretty much nothing about gardening so my aim is to take my time and learn as I go. The birds, butterflies and bees definitely love it as it is and, if I can see past the dandelions and nettles, there are some positives, like the beautiful poppies and various other wildflowers which are appearing all over.
Anyway, no doubt I'll be looking for a fair amount of help and this looks like a good place to start :)

Hi NC, welcome to Gardeners Corner. Well, it sounds as though previous owners left you the "bones" of a good garden, but I'm sure you'll turn it into an even better one:thumbsup::D
