It's quiet on GC this evening, I suppose everyone's watching a lot of overpaid men chasing a football! :heehee:

Yes, i've been thinking how quiet it is just now. I've put it down to Chelsea mania, but didn't realise the football was on! :gaagh: I hate football.

I think everyone's gone to Shiney's. He held an open day in his garden today.

Not me....bores me to tears...especially the 'experts' rattling on about it before and after.

My absence was easily explained. Despite all it's claims on it's expensive TV adverts, BT cannot deliver 'fast, reliable broadband' in my area if more than about 3 people are trying to log-on at the same time - come to that, they can't deliver any broadband, despite my living within sight of the exchange. Round here, it's not a case of 'I'll log on the net and see', but much more 'I'll see if I can log onto the net.' And for this they charge ...... far, far too much for something we can't use most evenings or much of most weekends.

I feel sorry for all the people away for the weekend or half-term with the weather like this.. Typical Bank holiday weather I know, but miserable if you are cooped up in your tent or caravan :gaagh: also all the people who have Fetes or any other outdoor activity today.. A real damper on it all.. I just hope shiney's day went off as well as it usually does.. :yay:

It was nice to see you again Ziggy. :yess:

I've made a bit of progress this afternoon, cut the curved granite tops for the water feature and was just packing up at 3:30 to pop to the Surrey show for the last couple of hours when the heavens opened up. So I'm staying at home instead, I don't want to go and see a load of wet sheep.

              Hope your Mum recovers quickly.

Plants have had a good water.

I'm quite fond of wet sheep.
