I'm very temperamental and hardly anyone will go on holiday because of how selfish I am.. but apart from that.... :dbgrtmb:

I also have OCD with stuff like Itunes which annoys me personally.

    Worst fault? Mmmmm, tricky one.

Well, in the garden it's certainly impatience. I completely re-vamped our garden about 3 years ago, took out just about everything and started again. I know things will fill out eventually - they're getting there, slowly - but I long for the day when I don't have to buy quite so many bedding plants to fill in the gaps (or indeed do so much weeding!).

In general though, my worst fault is being a 'control freak' - I don't trust workmen to do anything properly (probably comes through the bitter experience of having workmen in who clearly had no idea what they were doing or left things in a worse condition than when they started): I prefer to drive anywhere I can, I can't abide trains - which are notoriously unreliable - and if I'm behind the wheel I can leave in good time, use the route I want and stop if and when I want. I can show you how to do something, but I can do it in half the time and ..... I won't leave the kitchen looking like a bomb site when I've finished! Yes, I know, I'm hell to live with :heehee:

Hmm, looking at the Thread Title again,

Retrospectively I think the worst fault may be the transverse fault that lies off the coast of New York State.

When that goes it'll cause about 10 minutes of backwards and forwards shaking. Now the Sky Scrapers are built to withstand that, although they may loose glass and panels.

Its the tenement buildings, like the one featured In "Friends"

They were mostly built with lime mortar which wont withstand that amount of shaking.

So, geologically, thats a pretty bad fault.

I'm a bit of a stress monkey! Don't mean to be but i am and usually a good cuppa of cammomile tea helps, but tonight after interviewing my final candidate, a bottle of cider did the trick!:yahoo:

Seem to have a few here that also apply to me. Perfectionist, definitely, control freak, that sounds like me as well. but I suppose my worst fault would have to be that I do not suffer fools gladly, they just get on my nerves!!!!!

My worst fault is my modesty, it`s the only thing that stops me being perfect.:D Closely followed by my habit of saying what I think, as people on here have noticed from time to time.:heehee::heehee::heehee::dbgrtmb:

My worst fault? I was going to ask the OH, but she would probably recite a long and comprehensive list.
I can be a bit indecisive, I do tend to prevaricate an awful lot when faced with a decision.....but then on the other hand......sorry.
I was once told I was too nice by my boss in a previous job! The job involved managing several staff and what he was trying to say was that I needed to be more assertive.
Too nice? Well excuse me! Shortly after that I gave up the job. :D

I'll join the list of oCD control freaks! :D I blame that on victorian parenting - the mindset that meant being average was not good enough. You had to do a job better than best or it was not worth doing... I find that hard to carry and I am desperately trying not to pass it onto my kids. My father still holds to that view... if you're only mediocre at something why bother doing it, which is probably why he is such a happy man! :heehee: Not.

I am also terrible at making decisions! Except in my garden -may be that is why I like gardening so much... it is so calming and allows me to switch my overactive brain off!! And I feel it doesn't matter whether I am an expert or just really enthusiastic because the plants always help me out by being beautiful.

My only fault is not realising how perfect I am.

I used to work for a plastering firm when I were 15-20, and my boss used to use that line every day ''If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right'' about everything.. plastering, brushing up... etc :fingerdrum:
