Unknown Purple Flowering Plant..

Thanks for that, but the name doesn't really ring a bell (pardon the pun). I was sure I knew campanula but it seems I must be thinking of something else.

EDIT: I might have been thinking of Calendula, which I believe includes some of the marigolds (but could be wrong again ).

 

Maybe you meant Calendula? I thought about them as soon as I read the title of the plants in the pictures.

Campanula is Bellflower, Calendula is Pot Marigold.

 

Dai, when do Marigolds normally flower? I grew some from seed in March (I think it was March) and they're about 10"+ tall but no sign of buds or anything..
