Was very grateful to be given, three - straight out of ground - bulbs of fresh garlic yesterday.

Now, said garlic is in my kitchen "drying out" and "stinking whole flat out :o:heehee:".

It's fab though - my kitchen smells of fresh produce everywhere:)

So, my question to you gurus is this: how long does fresh garlic take to dry out to the point where I can use it in my cooking? yum!

    Thanks :dbgrtmb:

I'd agree with John there, mash it all up, put it the fridge and use it as a spread to keep double glazing salesmen at bay.

Got a jar of it in my fridge, don't have to worry about it keeping as it gets used pretty quickly.
